Quest

Quests are a good way of getting experience points for you or your consortium. You can accept any quest from any NPC with a golden 'Q' (Golden Q Symbol) Icon above their head. The Gray 'Q' symbol represents upcoming Quests that you’re not quite the right level for, so don’t forget to come back too towns later. You can see the quests you have taken, along with their details, in the quest list. You can access the quest list with the 'j' short cut key.

2. Recycle Quests

Sometimes you can collect gray items from items dropped by dying NPCs, or PK players or from dissecting fish. Recycle quests require the killing of ships at sea which reward you with experience points and item drops. Within the drops you can be given recycle items(items with gray names), which, once you have enough items to fulfill a recycle quest it can be completed in any city, within which you take these to the recycle quest NPC. Once the quest is complete the NPC will award you accordingly. Some may feel that these items can be useless but if collected can give good rewards.

3. Daily Quests

Daily quest are varied, some are daily quests that require certain ships to be sunk, others are daily quests that require goods fetching from different cities. You must make sure the goods you are collecting are the required level for the quest itself. To do this when you reach the destined NPC of that city, you will see a list of goods. Some daily quests require different leveled goods, and to do this there is next to the goods a up and down tab which changes the level of the good needed. Some daily quests can also be a mix of killing certain ship and goods. After completion the NPC will reward you accordingly.

4. Consortium Quests

There are two types of consortium quest, one type is collecting certain items listed on your quest request which come from drop items after killing ships, the other kind of consortium quest is where you have to fish for certain listed fish needed for your quest. Both types of consortium quest award you with gains to enhance your consortium with consortium points, as the NPC rewards you with a reward for completing either type of quest and gives you certain consortium points, and benefits the consortium and each member that has joined that particular consortium.

5. Trade Quests

Trade quests require the player to collect a number of Trade items from within a certain town and deliver them back to the quest giver. Find the city selling the Items on the map go and buy the items needed return to the NPC. Remember that you cannot use your consortium teleport stone whilst you are holding goods.

6. Warrior Quests

A warrior quest requires the killing of a specific NPC ship out at sea or killing a number of groups of NPCs. Within the quest description you can see the name of the Pirates needing to be killed and between brackets the number needing taking. Warrior quests may also be based on a collection of a specific item dropped by a specific NPC.
