Playing Discovery Online Alone can be fun; there is much of our earth you can discover traveling throughout the 7 seas.
Within Discovery Online you can group together with up to 4 other players, too increase your efficiency by working together. Or you can join a consortium that can have many more players. However Consortiums have a bank and volt, they can share Items that they no longer need with their friends they can even take over up to three towns. The towns own by a consortium can generate funds and allow quick access to their towns via the consortium transmission stone.
Groups
What is a group for?
Grouping with other players is a way of temporarily joining together with a couple of other players. When in a group players can strategize there attacks on the NPC pirate ships or on the other players. A group can divvy up their loot how they like. And also they can gain more Ex as when you’re within a group with other players every time they take a ship you gain some experience points too.
How do I setup a group?
Too setup a group you need to ask another player to join your group. By right-clicking on his name and selecting ‘Invite to group’ from the menu that appears. A group can contain up to 4 players. The person that sent out the group invitations is the head of the group. Should the head of a group leaves the group or disconnects from the game the group administration rights defaults too one of the other players within the group. There is always the option to pass on the head of group too another player if you don’t want to run it.
